SAUTEED MUSHROOMS
Ingredients:
Fresh sliced mushrooms
Olive oil
Seasoning of choice (I normally use kosher salt & coarse ground pepper)
COOKING METHOD - DIRECT
Put the mushroom in a large bowl (as shown), and toss with olive oil. Once coated, add your seasoning, and toss again. Get your Egg up to 400 degrees, and place a grill safe metal vegetable pan that has 2" or so high sides on the cooking grid to cook the mushrooms in. Let the pan get hot, and place the mushrooms in the pan. Cook the mushrooms until most of the liquid in the mushrooms is gone (mushrooms are approximately 90% water), which will be about 15-20 minutes. You'll need to move these around while cooking, so that they don't burn. Remove the mushrooms from the Egg, and place in a pan or dish. Serve immediately.
